Executive Coaching
Alignment Strategies Group's executive coaching helps leaders gain extraordinary results based on personalized needs and interests. An executive coaching engagement typically follows three phases:
Assessment. Asks, “Where am I now? Where would I like to be?” In this phase, we work with clients to uncover their values and to assess their current leadership competencies. We look at where they are currently, and the competencies they want and need to build for an extraordinary future.
Action. Clients engage in the “action-learning cycle”: they learn new frameworks, build and practice skills, take action, reflect on action taken, and integrate this learning into future action plans. We work with clients to create a “learning curriculum” that is customized specifically to their needs and interests. Coaching helps clients take the strategic actions necessary to attain the individual and organizational results they seek.
Reflection. Asks, “What have I done well? What would I like to adjust or improve? What competencies would I like to continue to develop, cultivate, or master?”

We offer courses and workshops on the following topics:

Our workshops are highly customized. They are designed to address your organization’s particular culture, needs, and challenges. We use a highly interactive method of teaching and learning. Prior to our workshops, we conduct interviews with a sub-set of participants in order to address specific client challenges and to create customized case studies where appropriate.
During our workshops, we build on interactive presentations using cases and role plays to help participants immediately apply what they learn. Our unique tools enable participants to develop, cultivate and master skills over time.
Emphasis is placed on creating extraordinary results both immediately and over the long-term. All workshop facilitators use a highly engaging teaching and facilitation style. Our workshops enable participants to truly integrate new ideas into their everyday behavior to produce extraordinary results for themselves, their teams and their organizations.
Facilitation
We provide facilitation expertise to guide leaders and their teams through important, and potentially challenging, conversations and meetings, including strategic planning sessions and team-building retreats.
Facilitation services include:
- one-on-one consultation prior to meetings to bring key issues into focus and create a plan that addresses both substantive and relationship-oriented needs;
- meeting design and facilitation to enable effective conversations and set groups up for constructive action; and
- post-meeting consultation to support effective implementation of action plans and to integrate learning.
In addition, through a combination of training, coaching, and modeling effective facilitation skills, we help clients build their own facilitation capability.
